Frequently Asked Questions

When is the order cut-off, and what days do you deliver?

Our deliveries are all made on a Friday (between 8am – 12 noon).

We only organise deliveries once a week to ensure our products arrive to you as fresh as can be. We’re a small family farm which is why it takes a week for orders to arrive to your door, as every item is hand-butchered to order.

All orders received by midnight Friday will be delivered the following Friday morning. Any orders received after this cut-off will be delivered the next week.

Do I have to be at home when you deliver?

Ideally yes, but if you know you won’t be in on the Friday morning when your box is being delivered then please leave a note in the “Delivery Instructions” box to tell us where you’d like your box to be left (porch, neighbour, etc).

What are your delivery charges, and where do you deliver to?

All deliveries are charged at £10.

We use APC fulfil delivery to England, Wales and Mainland Scotland. For deliveries to the following areas, please contact us for a quote:

Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles, Offshore Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the following postcodes within Scotland:

All AB postcodes, DD, DG, EH1-55, FK1-21, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV36, IV40, IV52-54, IV63, KA1-26, KA29-30, KW1-14, KY, ML, PA1-40, PA80, PH1-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, TD.

What packaging do you use?

We use Woolcool insulation to package our meat boxes. Woolcool is made from 100% felted sheep’s wool, and is proven to keep food chilled for at least 24 hours. Not only can this packaging be reused time and time again, but the wool insulation is completely compostable and biodegradable, releasing valuable nitrates back into the soil.

So once you’ve received your meat delivery, why not make use of the packaging to keep food cooled on trips away, or use them in your garden to protect your plants from the frost. For more ideas on how to reuse and recycle Woolcool, search for #letsboxclever on social media.
