Autumn is now upon us, which means our sheep are getting ready for their honeymoon. We’ll be putting the tups in with the ewes over the next few days which will then see us lambing in early February. Richard’s busy playing matchmaker, deciding which tup to put to which ewes, and he’s excited to meet our new tup who’s making the journey down to us from Aberdeen tomorrow (I’m sure there’ll be a photo on our social media pages later in the week!).

Many thanks to all our customers last weekend who collected meat orders. We seem to be busier each month; it’s a bit hectic trying to fit everything into the two days but well worth it to hear the great reviews and feedback we get.

Our next opening will be on Friday 11th (9am-4pm) and Saturday 12th (9am-1pm) October when we’ll have availability of half/whole lambs, half/whole pigs, pork boxes, chickens, pork joints/chops, lamb joints/chops, bacon and sausages. Please do try to send in your orders as early as possible to ensure availability as we’ve had a few last minute orders the past couple of months and we’ve already received a few half/whole lamb orders for October so it’s likely to be another busy one.

If you can’t make it to us in October, then the next one will be on November 15th & 16th. We can take orders for November anytime so feel free to send them in sooner rather than later!
